PTE Exam Format
In the PTE Listening section, there have been no changes to fill in the blanks (listening), highlight incorrect words, and write from dictation. However, simplify spoken text, multiple choice, multiple answers, highlight correct summary, multiple choice, correct answer, and select missing word have been reduced from 2-3 to 1-2. In summary, the listening section questions have decreased from 15-22 to 12-20. According to the old rules, the PTE exam had an optional 10-minute break. However, since November 16, 2021, the optional break has been removed from the new format.
PTE score reports have changed as of November 16, 2021. Your overall score and listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills scores will remain unchanged. However, you will no longer be awarded enabling skill ratings for grammar and vocabulary. Instead, you will receive a report on how to enhance your skills in these areas. Don't worry, here's an overview of the changes to the PTE exam. Among these changes, it's important to note that they take effect after November 16, 2021.
